"Muur" is Flemish for "Wall"...and this wall, rising out of the town of Geraardsbergen, comes nearly 250km into the Tour of Flanders.

The race has been won, and lost, on the cobbled climb of the Muur. And for the past two years, the man first over the top of the Muur went on to victory at Flanders. This iconic climb is one of the great monuments of cycling. The atmosphere at the top of the Muur is unlike that of any other race.

Savor some of the best images of the day, as CycleTo takes you to the Tour of Flanders...and the Muur.
